France

In the framework of the study contract for the re-engineering of sulphuric acid injection points, SADE has won the contract for the design of new sulphuric acid injection devices in the cold-water source circuits of nuclear power plants. Further to definition studies, SADE will produce a digital 3D model to validate the design and assess its ergonomy. A physical 1/5 scaled model will then be built to carry out maintenance tests. This contract is part of a large post-Fukushima programme to secure nuclear power plants.

Ivory Coast

In Abobo-Baoulé, to the north-east of Abidjan and on behalf of the National Office of Sewerage and Drainage (ONAD), FRANZETTI CI (a SADE subsidiary) will be carrying out works in connection with the development of the village water basin, consisting of a drain hole and a buried network of reinforced concrete culverts (1,200mm-diameter) to control flow.

Ardèche

The Cruas nuclear power plant is required to replace a wave compensator (expansion device) on the cooling network of segment 2. The nuclear power plant and EDF have entrusted SADE with the draining of the cooling circuit, the removal of the existing facility connected to a steel-core concrete pipeline (2,800mm-diameter), the installation of a new facility (2,800mm-diameter) located under the air cooling tower, joint welding under EDF quality control and the protection of the concrete pipeline ends.

Ain/Drôme

As part of the post-Fukushima project by EDF at the Tricastin and Bugey nuclear power plants, SADE will be building a quick-connection manhole with steel tooling to enable a water supply connection to the reactor building in the event of an incident. SADE will also be laying a discharge pipeline between each water borehole and the manhole, in addition to HDPE priming pipes between the boreholes and the emergency diesel generator buildings (electrical connections and controls).

Val-de-Marne

On behalf of GRT Gaz and in the framework of the crossing of the Paris-Bordeaux high-speed train line in Vitry-sur-Seine, SADE will be creating two wells for the launching and reception of a micro-tunnelling machine, shoring by secant piling and a transition slab on the departure well. SADE will also build a concrete priming pipe (82m, 900mm-diameter) under the railway track. Works will be carried out in synergy with GT Canalisations (a SADE subsidiary), who will lay the gas pipeline (300mm-diameter).

For Toray Films Europe in Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost, SOMEC (a SADE subsidiary will be changing 13 water gates (200mm and 600mm-diameter) in an industrial and ATEX (explosive atmosphere) site.

In the framework of the connection of school, public and public health buildings to the urban heating network in the city of Mans and on behalf of SYNER’GIE, GT Canalisations (a SADE subsidiary) and SADE will be laying 4,800m of pre-insulated steel tubes (65mm to 250mm-diameter) by excavation works.

On behalf of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, SADE will be rebuilding the Cassagne reed bed filtering WWTP on 2 levels (440PE) and will create the associated transfer network.

For the municipality of Cassagnes, SADE will be building a protected station for filling and rinsing agricultural spraying equipment and for washing harvesting machines. SADE will also install all filling, rinsing and cleaning equipment for the plant treatment product tanks, with the collection and treatment of wastewater.
