Simultaneous construction of 2 water towers<\/b><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

These two facilities weigh some 1,000 tonnes (steel) and contain 10,000m\u00b3 of concrete.<\/strong><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row gap=”20″ css=”.vc_custom_1610562103375{margin-top: -30px !important;}”][vc_column width=”7\/12″ css=”.vc_custom_1610562057535{margin-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Their construction requires a specific SADE technique, already proven for the construction of water towers in Djibi and N\u2019dotre: advanced 3D design, construction of multi-section tanks using climbing formwork, then simultaneous construction of two water towers and a metal gangway between the domes of both tanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 1<\/span>st <\/span>September 2020, at around 10 a.m., 8 cylinders driving a bundle of steel cables raised the first tower\u2019s initial 3,500-tonne empty tank to a height of 30m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its 3,500-tonne twin was raised on 8 and 9 October 2020 in difficult weather conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

These tanks were fastened to the column before the construction of the dome and tower located above the column.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
