It is responsible for the structural development, management and economic growth of the Artois-Flandres industrial park.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Geared primarily towards industrial companies, the first firm to locate to the estate in the late 1960s was La Fran\u00e7aise de M\u00e9canique.<\/p>\n<p>This industrial estate continues to grow today. A new 90ha plot was freed up and redesigned on the former Fran\u00e7aise de M\u00e9canique site, notably for the firm ACC, winner of the French government\u2019s recovery plan for the car industry and innovative entities. ACC is Europe\u2019s leading manufacturer of car batteries.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, SIZIAF called on the SADE (agent) &#8211; Eurovia consortium to make these future plots viable. This servicing task consisted in providing access to water supply, gas networks, telecommunications and fire safety facilities. It also included public drainage with pre-branch connections on the plots in question.<\/p>\n<p>Within 10 weeks, from October to mid-December 2021, SADE laid a drainage network, at an average depth of 4.5m, converging at a pre-existing pumping station.<\/p>\n<p>The teams from the Artois-Lens Agency also built the water supply and fire safety networks in 250mm-diameter cast iron. To overcome specific hurdles such as a traffic roundabout, two directional drilling operations of 315mm and 250mm-diameter were carried out to lay sheaths designed to house the gas and water supply networks.<\/p>\n<p>Once the networks were in place, Eurovia carried out road surfacing and landscaping works.[\/vc_column_text][vc_message style=&#8221;square&#8221; message_box_color=&#8221;white&#8221; icon_type=&#8221;entypo&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1691659282344{margin-top: 15px !important;margin-right: 30px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 1px !important;background-color: #008bcb !important;border-bottom-color: #008bcb !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}&#8221; icon_entypo=&#8221;entypo-icon entypo-icon-info-circled&#8221;]<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>An environmental aspect<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">As the networks were to pass through wooded areas, the works were to comply with the Green Worksite Charter and longstanding environmental measures imposed by the Artois-Flandres industrial park.
