SADE (Poitiers-Metz Regional Division) was awarded contract n\u00b03.<\/p>\n<h2>Extending the lifespan of networks<\/h2>\n<p>For this project, the Grenoble agency recommends Class 50 Electrosteel pipes, which offer pipelines a longer lifespan (50 years). An attractive offer for local authorities who are looking for longer network lifespans and more sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n<h2>Works<\/h2>\n<p>The project entrusted to SADE consists in the underground laying of 2,460m of 600mm-diameter pipes.<\/p>\n<p>To supply the plant with water, in addition to the cast-iron line, the team is building and equipping a valve chamber, laying 3 triple-function suction pads (150mm-diameter) and 3 drains (200mm-diameter) under manholes.<\/p>\n<p>The pipeline crosses the A41 motorway, requiring the laying of 70m of 600mm-diameter stainless steel piping in corbelling along a facility built by the motorway operator Area to cross over a stream.<\/p>\n<p>The supports for this project were sized and designed by SIng.<\/p>\n<p>Works began in late October 2022.
