Major project

WWTP in Samarkand

SADE is rehabilitating and modernising the Samarkand WWTP built back in the 50s-60s. This was SADE’s first worksite in this country in partnership with the Uzbek and Turkish teams on this flagship project, supported by the World Bank.
SADE Ingénierie is upgrading and carrying out compliance work on the designs as well as supplying electromechanical and electrical equipment.

Top representatives of the Ministry for Housing and Municipal Services (both the new minister and his deputy minister) visited our site in April 2021 to inspect the construction and repair works on the wastewater treatment plant.

EXCERPT FROM THE MINISTRY’S OFFICIAL SITE

SADE is introducing modern technologies with funding from the World Bank. The plant’s previous input capacity was 70,000m3, now increased to 140,0003 per day. With the plant’s new equipment, wastewater treatment efficiency will rise from 64% to 95%
