A new type of reinforcement designed by a SADE employee based on the principle of light, hand-set formwork!
The system is made up of several types of different-sized panels: 120*60, 90*60, 60*60, 30*60, all interconnectable and to which lifting rings and guardrails can be fixed. A smart, practical system!
These panels offer several advantages:
they can be used any way round;
their manufacturing is standardised: all the parts used can be found and replaced worldwide.

SADE is making a leap into the future, signing a partnership agreement with Canadian start-up Transpod, creators of one of the most advanced hyperloop systems in the world. The project is to design a new test track in Droux (Limoges).
Construction of the test track is set to begin in 2019 with the high-speed trials planned for 2020. The results of the programme will culminate in the construction of an operational prototype of the TransPod vehicle, the new “hyperloop” vacuum train, to be assembled in Limoges.
Worksite visits are central to the SADE Group’s prevention policy. They enable us not only to resolve risky situations on site, but also to identify hazardous situations that may have already caused or could subsequently cause accidents.
VigiSADE, our occupational accident prevention tool, allows users to collect and immediately share all the information from their worksite visits.
VigiSADE becomes THE essential tool to draw up worksite visit reports.
1. A secure application
2. An operation-oriented, multi-device app usable everywhere, even offline.
3. The ability to instantaneously report a hazardous situation, separately from any site visits.… +
It improves team safety and reduces excavated material/backfilling volumes on your worksites.
How it came about
Late 2017 – Specifications drawn up and finalised: designing a hydraulic clamp capable of laying cast-iron drinking water pipes of up to Ǿ300 in narrow trenches.
2018 – Manufacturing of a prototype, which was then equipped with an Oilquick hydraulic adapter plate to automatically couple it to a mechanical excavator.
2019 – Testing of the clamp on 2 worksites in the Angers region by SADE Group teams: a worksite to lay a 160 PVC pipe in a rural setting, followed by a worksite to… +
The SADE Group was the first importer of the ABS plug system, widely used in Japan but still little known elsewhere.
What is the ABS plugging system?
This solution is used to temporarily block a system (e.g. in case of valve failure) using an inflatable pipe plug, or airbag. These plugs are available in 4 diameters: 50, 100, 150, 200.
SADE has designed an innovative, safe and effective worksite tool.
On worksites, fastening a ladder is a sensitive safety issue and a complex organisational one. You often need an extra operator to hold and/or stabilise it. In-field teams often talked of the need for a simple, light, and slimline ladder fastening system.
SADE had the idea of designing a magnetic ladder fastening system.
It features two swivelling and width-adjustable brackets to fasten and position the ladder at different angles.
It allows you to:
hold a conventional ladder on a vertical metal surface,
secure any user working on… +
BIM stands for Building Information Modelling.
BIM covers work and project management methods including:
the construction of a smart 3D digital model, containing structured data (supply, schedule, etc.).
BIM is used to monitor the structure during its entire lifecycle: from design to deconstruction.
BIM by SADE? 100 years of expertise in the design, construction and rehabilitation of water systems, WWTPs and water civil engineering structures, applied to Building Information Modelling with the construction of a smart digital model containing structured data.… +
At the recent national water conference, the French government decided to mobilise public and private stakeholders to relaunch nationwide investment, helping to reduce water leaks and improve system management, as well as ensuring the distribution of high-quality water.
SADE has launched a new service, CANASCAN®, which is fully in line with this network asset management policy.
SADE’s solution: CANASCAN®
CANASCAN® allows you to:
keep better track of the status of systems,
estimate their foreseeable life span,
digitally map the status of systems.
Using CANASCAN®, it’s now easy to:
use reliable and relevant data to determine your asset management strategy,
With its work on the restoration of Château de Gisors, a favourite with Knights Templar specialists.
Gisors council selected CLAISSE Environnement to handle the metalwork/painting package of this major works contract, which recognises and showcases the know-how of the Bailleul metalworks.
A doubly-important contract
The title of the contract already makes its historical nature clear: “Urgent works to secure and restore the “Prisoner’s Tower”, the barbican, and the governor’s postern. Restoration of the castle complex”.
Its metalwork/painting package reflects the scale of the restored structures, featuring as it does 1 grate, 14 doors, 13 windows, 42m… +
An experiment you can check out on the Greater Paris Regional Division’s worksite, partly under 2 high-voltage overhead lines.
In Plessis-Robinson, SADE is diverting 340m of Ø900mm steel-cored concrete pipe at significant depth (average 3.5m) for VEDIF. A complex worksite in a demanding environment!
Under high-voltage lines
In addition to numerous underground concessionary systems, this worksite combines, over a stretch measuring a little more than 60m, 2 RTE 225,000V overhead lines, 11m above the ground. In order to maintain a safe distance of 5m from the lines, the arms of the machines cannot extend more than 6m above the ground.… +
